EMMA Vietnam 2025 Kickoff in HCMC – Premier Stage for Professional Car Audio

From June 19–21, 2025, the EMMA TPHCM 2025 car audio competition took place at Hall B of the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, as part of Automechanika 2025. The event featured nearly 100 thrilling contests, offering an exceptional audio experience for enthusiasts.

EMMA TPHCM 2025 continued to set high standards for competition, closely aligned with the practical needs of car audio upgrade enthusiasts. Notably, the strong presence of electric vehicles in the competition reflected the growing green trend in the automotive industry, providing new opportunities for experts to showcase their tuning skills on modern technology platforms.

This year, the organizers also introduced a new category: SQ DSP/AMP, encouraging participants to innovate and optimize their systems using DSP products integrated with amplifiers—a product line becoming increasingly popular in Vietnam.

Compared to 2024, the number of participants was limited to focus on the most professional teams. Impressively, over 10 vehicles came from northern provinces like Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Ha Noi and Quang Ninh, highlighting strong interest and determination to compete in the country’s biggest car audio event. The new format required vehicles to have participated in a national-level competition to qualify for the EMMA Asian Finals 2025, helping to improve participant quality and ensure stricter selection.

To maintain professionalism, EMMA TPHCM 2025 invited an experienced panel of international judges, including Head Judges from EMMA Philippines (Mr. Adrian Malabanan and Mr. Jino Bhucksasri) and EMMA Indonesia (Mr. Ricky Sutanto and Mr. Steven AJM). Additionally, local Head Judges such as Mr. Ngo Ky Lam Head of EMMA Vietnam, Mr. Pham Van Han, Mr. Doan Tran Minh Chau, and Mr. Chu Van Thuong also took part. The scoring standards followed those of the EMMA Asian Finals to ensure fairness and transparency.

A new rule this year required late-registered vehicles to compete earlier, pushing teams to prepare thoroughly and manage time accurately for their performances.

After three energetic days, EMMA TPHCM 2025 concluded with a grand awards ceremony. The results reflected intense competition: in the Best of Sound Unlimited category, the Mazda CX5 from team Autobis clinched the championship by just 1 points over the runners-up; in categories like SQ E-3000 and SQ S-4000, rankings were determined by tie-breakers.

EMMA TPHCM 2025 reaffirmed its position as a professional car audio arena where passion, skill, and creativity converge to deliver impressive performances, further elevating Vietnam’s car audio industry.
