DLS introduces PA4.6DA, a compact 4 in / 6 out DSP amplifier designed to bring precise tuning tools and stable integration to modern car audio systems. Built around a 24-bit / 192 kHz Cirrus Logic DSP platform and a low-distortion Class AB amplifier stage, PA4.6DA is engineered to keep the sound warm, natural and coherent in the car.
Tune.
PA4.6DA gives full control over the system’s tonal balance and speaker handover points. Each channel can be tuned using a 31-band EQ (GEQ or PEQ), together with multiple crossover types and slopes up to 48 dB per octave. Time alignment is adjustable in 1 cm steps up to 519 cm, making it possible to correct for speaker placement and cabin acoustics with high precision.
Refine.
The integrated Class AB amplifier delivers 4 x 25 W RMS into 4 ohm and 4 x 50 W RMS into 2 ohm, providing clean output and stable behaviour with both factory and aftermarket speakers. With an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio above 100 dB, the platform is designed to keep noise low and preserve detail, even when tuned for a warm and relaxed presentation.
Control.
PA4.6DA is built to integrate cleanly in real-world installations. A 4-channel high-level input with Smart Load circuitry supports factory head units with impedance monitoring. Additional inputs include RCA, optical and Bluetooth 5.1. Six RCA DSP outputs allow system expansion with external amplifiers, and up to ten presets can be stored internally for different tunings, drivers or vehicles. Configuration is handled via a Windows-based GUI over USB.
PA4.6DA marks the beginning of a new DSP platform from DLS, with additional models planned, including DSP-only versions and expanded channel configurations.
