Once again, the Mozart City Salzburg became the hotspot for EMMA competitors and their masterful sound vehicles. All arrived with one goal: to clinch top marks from the international EMMA jury, become an EMMA European Champion, and spend a fantastic long weekend with like-minded enthusiasts. The judgeteam from three continents had a tough job to do as well as the administration around Event Director Carel Wolf and Back Office Chief Angelique Delnoji. Over 800 scoresheets had to be managed before the ceremony could start on Sunday afternoon.
With around 250 competition vehicles from over 20 nations at the start, the event offered three days of high-end car audio excellence, showcasing not just technical precision to the judges, but a vibrant community spirit to all attendees. The longest trip had again the team Kazakhstan with over 6000 Km one way. At the end it was once more the ultimate stage where Sound Quality (SQ), ESQL, Multimedia, and ESPL (Sound Pressure League) met artistic installation craftsmanship.
The enthusiastic atmosphere of the event could especially be experienced at the legendary Saturday night party. The combination of international cuisine, served by seven EMMA Teams from Italy, Finland, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands and Germany, draft-beer and a cosy atmosphere melted to a perfect occasion to have a great time with friends and business partners.
The eagerly awaited awards ceremony on Sunday not only answered the question of who of the long-experienced EMMA participants and who of newcomers could take a trophy home, but also which nation can mark the most championship titles. While Germany could celebrate nine European Champions, the teams from Finland, UK and Sweden were also able to celebrate several titles in the various classes from SQ to ESPL. Our special congratulations also go to the European champions from the Netherlands, Romania, Ukraine, and Turkey.
But also the complete framework with the Customized show, Tatoo Expo and CarMediaWorld showed impressive highlights for the visitors. The exhibitors turned out that they are higly satisfied with the outcome of the countless contacts they had during the three days. Again the event in Salzburg became the most important meeting point for all enthusiasts and business related people around the globe.
We thank you all for coming and wish everyone a successful 2026 EMMA season and look forward to seeing you again in Salzburg in 2027.
Here are some first impressions
