Following the launch of PA4.6DA, DLS continues to build out the Performance DSP platform with two new additions: PA4.6D and PE4.8DA. Both are developed around the same core philosophy: precise tuning, stable OEM integration and the warm, natural DLS sound in the car.

Shape the Sound.
PA4.6D is a pure 4 in / 6 out digital signal processor designed for systems where amplification is chosen separately. Built on a 24-bit / 192 kHz Cirrus Logic DSP platform, it offers detailed control over tonal balance, crossover behaviour and time alignment, making it a flexible and predictable control centre for scalable systems.

PE4.8DA takes the concept further by combining advanced DSP processing with an integrated Class D amplifier and expanded channel count. The amplifier delivers 4×50 W RMS in both 4 Ohm and 2 Ohm loads, ensuring consistent output and stable behaviour regardless of speaker impedance.

This makes system design more predictable, especially in OEM based installations with mixed impedance setups.
Both models feature 31-band EQ per channel, flexible crossover filters up to 48 dB per octave, precise time alignment and Smart Load high-level inputs for clean integration with modern factory systems. Configuration is handled via a Windows-based USB interface, with up to ten presets stored internally.

PA4.6D and PE4.8DA share the same tools, software environment and tuning approach. The difference lies in system capacity and configuration options, allowing users and installers to choose the level that best fits the installation.
