DLS has released new Plug and Play speakers for the popular Cruise series. The latest additions to the Cruise series bring a new level of sound for the American car brand Ford. Installation is straightforward, with vehicle-specific fitment and connections designed to integrate naturally with the factory system. The new speakers come in two versions, one as a custom-fit 6.5” component kit, and the other as a custom-fit 6.5″ coaxial speaker.
DLS Cruise CRPP-FO1.6 component kit
The Cruise Series CRPP-FO1.6 is a custom-fit 6.5″ component speaker kit designed specifically for selected Ford vehicles, including popular models such as Fiesta, Focus, Kuga, Ranger and Transit Custom. It is developed to replace the factory speakers in their original locations while retaining the original stereo and wiring.
The Cruise Series is engineered for natural, balanced sound with low distortion. A glass fibre woofer delivers controlled midbass and clear midrange, while the 1″ natural silk dome tweeter provides smooth, detailed high frequencies. A 12 dB crossover with high-quality Mundorf capacitors ensures a clean and balanced transition between the drivers.
With 91 dB sensitivity, the kit performs well with the original factory stereo. It also handles up to 100 W RMS, providing additional headroom for improved dynamics and control when used with an external amplifier.
DLS Cruise CRPP-FO1.6CX coaxial speaker
The Cruise Series CRPP-FO1.6CX is a custom-fit 6.5″ coaxial speaker set designed specifically for selected Ford vehicles, including popular models such as Fiesta, Focus, Kuga, Ranger and Transit Custom. It is primarily intended for the rear doors and pairs naturally with the CRPP-FO1.6 component kit in the front for a balanced sound throughout the vehicle.
The Cruise Series is engineered for natural, balanced sound with low distortion. The glass fibre woofer provides controlled and detailed reproduction, while the integrated 1″ natural silk dome tweeter adds smooth, clear high frequencies. A 6 dB crossover with a high-quality Mundorf capacitor creates a natural transition between woofer and tweeter.
With 90 dB sensitivity, CRPP-FO1.6CX works well with the original factory stereo. Its 90 W RMS power handling also provides useful headroom when the system is upgraded with an external amplifier.
