On November 21st the third EMMA Asia Finals Stage took place in Dongguan/China. The day before the show started with the Chinese Nationals. This was a good chance to warm up for the international Judge Team for the next day when the Asia Final stage of China had taken place. Again here single seat judging was used the same way as it has been done on all prior stages.
The Judges were busy listening to the cars and checking the installation but everything went on smooth even though the competitors had been a bit nervous. Peter Chang from EMMA China organized everything very well and made a big show out of both events including a nice party on thursday evening. He was also arranging a big stage and organized a special parking system so that it was easy for the Judges to get an overview and to find the cars fast. In addition, the ESQL Show was as every year very impressive. It seems that Michael Jackson is very popular in China because during the ESQL Show many performances to his great hits were shown. Also the installation judges were impressed of all the really nice locking installations the Chines presented to them. Since the last years the level and professionalism of the installations as well as the sounding of the cars has been improving pretty much and we are sure that this growing potential was not yet coming to its end.
We are excited what we are going to see and hear on our next destination, which is Taiwan taking place at West Lake Resort Miaoli Taichung.
