What a great day in Singapore where the fifth stage of the EMMA Asia Finals 2014 took place on October 25 for competitors from Singapore and Malaysia as well. At 10:00 the Judges, Team & Competitors arrived at the cozy Location near Singapore Beach. The for Singapore absolute normal weather condition (hot and humid) was in the first moment not so easy to handle for the Judge Team which had got used the last days to the European-Summer-Style weather in China and Taiwan. God thanks EMMA Singapore Manager Terence Nah organized an air-conditioned room for the back office and for Judges and Competitors to take some rest.
It was a relaxed and friendly welcome atmosphere at the fifth stage of Asia Finals so that the whole competition went on really silk & smooth. The Judging was done the same way as on the other stages in the single seat modus, which means that two separate judges are going to listen and score the car. Finally yet importantly, the only ESQL Car competing for Singapore was judged. After Tonal Accuracy and the overall spectral balance was judged the competitor used a cool track for listening pleasure and three boys performed a great street-dance even though it was raining a little bit. The cozy Sound Off day in Singapore with very professional cars ended with a small sightseeing boat trip for the Judges. We enjoyed our time in Singapore pretty much and hope that we will be back again next year!
