On Sunday, September 13, the third round of the EMMA Benelux Championship took place. This time, we were guests at Fuerza Car Events ED5, organized by Fuerza Customs.

With a large number of pre-registrations already received, expectations were high. Several competitors also signed up on the day itself, allowing us to welcome nearly forty participants in total. A fantastic turnout of which we, as an organization, are extremely proud.

Unfortunately, the weather conditions were far from ideal. Heavy rain showers repeatedly poured down throughout the day, interrupted only by a few short and slightly drier moments. However, it never became truly dry. This made the event challenging for both competitors and judges alike. The ESQL evaluations even had to be carried out under a large umbrella to ensure that the measurements could go ahead.

A special detail was the presence of several competitors who had already participated in the German EMMA Finals the day before. Some members of our own team were also involved there as backoffice and judge. As a result, it turned into a particularly busy, but highly successful, motorsport weekend for many.

Despite the continuous rain, the competition ran exceptionally well. The atmosphere remained positive, participants were enthusiastic, and plenty of advice and tips were shared throughout the day. Thanks to the efficient organization, even with this impressive number of competitors, the award ceremony was able to take place as early as 4:00 PM. The results can be found here.

Naturally, we would also like to thank Fuerza Customs for their hospitality and cooperation. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the organizers did everything possible to make Fuerza Car Events ED5 a successful event.

With Round 3 now completed, our focus shifts to the National Finals (Belgian and Dutch Championships), which will be held on October 4 in Apeldoorn at BJ Electronics.

As usual, this will be a combined competition event. Everyone is welcome to participate. However, only competitors who have attended at least one EMMA event earlier this season are eligible for the championship titles. Championship participation is only possible in the final category/class in which the competitor previously competed. Changing classes is not permitted; in such cases, competitors may only participate in the event itself.
