Since June 1, 2026, an affiliation agreement was signed with the organizers of EMMA Brazil, Mr. Lauro Ricardo de Castro and Mr. Célio dos Santos Alves. EMMA is glad to welcome Brazil into its international network and sees a bright future for enthusiasts across this great nation.*
Brazil is the largest country in Latin America, with a strong automotive culture and a developing car audio community. EMMA Brazil is positioned to become a relevant player in the EMMA Americas region, with a structured three-phase plan:
Phase 1 — Structure and Training: Our real starting point will be the development and delivery of judge training courses and technical education aligned with EMMA’s official regulations and judging system. We firmly believe that without properly trained judges following EMMA’s standards, there is no serious competition. This educational foundation is our top priority and will be the backbone of everything we build.
Phase 2 — Market and Partner Development: In parallel, we will work on engaging the Brazilian car audio community — installers, retailers, enthusiasts, and brands — introducing them to EMMA’s format, philosophy, and standards. Building this network of well-informed partners is essential before scaling to official events.
Phase 3 — First Official Events: Once the training structure is in place and key partners are on board, our goal is to culminate the year with the first officially EMMA-affiliated events in Brazil. These initial events will serve as a demonstration of how the format works and will set the tone for the affiliation’s long-term growth.”*
