Now also available for many new Mercedes-Benz models (C-, E-, S-Class as well as GLC and GLE models), the new Plug and Play loudspeaker portfolio consists of the vehicle-specific 200 mm footwell basses as well as various 100 mm 2-way component and coaxial systems for the front and rear areas. The best-tested sound upgrade to date can be controlled using the specially developed UG MB ACC (Amplifier Connection Cable), allowing the new drivers to be driven and adjusted semi-actively or fully actively using a DSP power amplifier (Stealth 7.1 DSP). The high-quality plug-and-play loudspeakers convince with the ribbed paper cone known from the ONYX series and a flat installation depth thanks to an ultra-strong neodymium magnet. The fibreglass-reinforced polyamide baskets are a perfect fit and feature the MB-specific 3-point mounting. The large 25 mm hand-coated fabric tweeters of the MB 100 F play silky and detailed, thanks to their ventilated coupling volume, driven by a specially tuned cabinet crossover. The coaxial systems have an integrated 15 mm aluminium dome tweeter instead of the lightweight aluminium dustcap, they also have the matching vehicle-specific basket and the powerful neodymium magnet and the particularly flat design, they are available as rear system MB 100 RX and as rear shelf system / system for the rear area MB 100 PX. As a special feature, there is also a matching coaxial centre speaker, the MB 100 CNX. This has been equipped with a 2nd connection on the voice coil, for the MB Emergency Call Assistant. For left-hand drive models (Europe), there is the large 200 mm footwell subwoofer MB 195 L with a pressed and hand-coated paper cone with a strong neodymium magnet and a special plastic flange, so that the subwoofers can be screwed into their new installation location. For UK models or right-hand drive models, there is the MB 195 R version, which also has the precisely fitting connection flanges. Additional connection equipment (optional high-pass and low-pass crossovers as well as the SCC connection cable) complete the perfect upgrade solution.
