With participants from 172 countries, Automechanika is the most international gathering of the automotive industry and a leading B2B platform for innovation and business. It offers a unique opportunity to experience the latest trends, technologies, and products. This year the “HighTech4Mobility Forum” focuses on the “Software-Defined Vehicle.” The new Automechanika Pitlane and the Experience Park provide excitement with live-action displays and off-road attractions. At the same time, the event is expanding its offerings for classic and modern classic cars: the “Classic Alliance” connects experts and features live restorations, talks, and networking opportunities.
While automotive professionals showcase their innovations, the EMMA community celebrates its passion for in-car sound and infotainment in the outdoor area in front of Hall 12. On Saturday, September 12, Automechanika will once again host the German Finals of the European Mobile Media Association (EMMA). As always, this head-to-head competition for the German Championship title and qualification for the European Finals offers an exciting experience for all trade fair visitors.
Eighty premium sound cars are expected—not only from Germany but from other EMMA nations as well. As usual at EMMA Sound Offs, the participating vehicles and their builders will be available to Automechanika visitors for sound checks. Given that the average age of cars on our roads is currently 10.6 years and considering the growing enthusiasm for modern classics and vintage cars, the EMMA event is the ideal meeting point for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle’s infotainment and audio systems to the latest standards. The vehicle showcase, also featuring sound pressure measurements, promises to be a crowd-puller once again this year. The event sponsors for the German EMMA Final are the car audio and infotainment brands ESX and Musway; their show cars will also be on hand in the competition area to deliver concert-quality car audio experiences.
