Taking advantage of the advanced design methods employed in the MILLE flagship line, the electro-acoustic design engineers could bring the CENTO PRO speakers to a level of performance never achieved in this category. All magnetic groups have been optimized with a proprietary FEA simulation tool to achieve maximum linearity and control, even at high listening volumes.
The CPK 165 system includes the CP 165 woofer and the CP 25 tweeter with Tetolon dome and 25mm voice coil, features ensuring a very wide and linear frequency response. The CP 25 employs the “Center Tuning Duct” technology: the tunnel at the center of the powerful Neodymium magnetic circuit, ensures low-temperature air exchange between the dome and the rear loading chamber, perfectly tuning the acoustics. The resulting very low resonance frequency is also functional for the woofer crossover point, elevating the sound stage.
The sophisticated design of the mobile group and suspensions of the CP 165 woofer, featuring a 60Hz calibrated resonance frequency, ensures a mediumlow power with excellent punch, making listening to rich low frequency genres a unique experience.
The CPCX 2 crossover with 12 dB/Oct. cut-off uses hi-grade components such as air wound inductors and 160v polyester capacitors. It allows three level adjustments for the tweeter (-2, 0, +2 dB), ensuring optimum and customizable timbre balance, all within a compact high resistance ABS case with metallic finish.
