OIS – OEM Impedance Simulation
The ZDSP8 is equipped with OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) a feature rarely found in DSPs at this level. Without it, many modern OEM head units may fail to start or output sound when aftermarket equipment is installed. By simulating speaker impedance, the ZDSP8 ensures full compatibility, maintains factory functionality, and eliminates common integration issues.
Preset Switch Trigger
The Preset Trigger lets you instantly switch between two sound profiles using a 12V signal. It toggles between the active preset and preset 6 – ideal for setups where listening conditions change. For example, in a motorhome, you can have one preset tuned for driving and another for when parked.
