On the second weekend of July the Messe Karlsruhe/Germany was the place to be for all the Tuning freaks from Germany and the surrounding nations. The Tuningszene Karlsruhe Team provided a huge hall and an even bigger open air area on the Karlsruhe Fairground where they welcome over 3000 cars for a hot weekend. The EMMA team was again part of the show and broke a new season record in the number of competitors in EMMA Racing Advance. 12 participants only in this category and a total of 85 was a promising number. The EMMA Team was moreover excited about the participation of competitors from Austria, Switzerland and Poland with their sensational CarMedia Systems. The results of the EMMA competition were surprising as some enthused newcomers performed quite well – especially in SQ formats. Main event sponsor and eponym Rockford Fosgate as well as the US brand’s Distributor Audio Design appeared outstandingly impressed by the steadily growth of the event. For the first time the weather was just hot – in every perspective – and demanded at least some cooling from time to time. Even the sound judges did their job with running engines not to get cooked in the car. Anyway, it was a perfect weekend with lots of fun and hundreds of crazy cars and we are looking for another improvement next year.
