Today marked the season opening of EMMA-Benelux.
After two extremely hot days, we were happy that today it would be “only” 30 degrees. Nevertheless, participants had been informed in advance that sound judging would take place with air conditioning, in order to ensure the safety of our judges. Fortunately, every participant had a properly functioning air conditioning system!
Our new judges were immediately put to the test and got to work, alongside experienced judges to help them ease into the process.
Both the group of participants and the judging and back-office team were international, allowing for a great exchange of knowledge. We are pleased with the strong participation in the Entry class. Scores were very close, which promises a lot for the upcoming competitions. Everyone will need to step up to stay ahead or score that extra point next time.

Special thanks to the team at CDG Custom Design for their warm welcome and for making their venue and facilities available.
There was also a food truck and plenty of cold drinks. Despite a temperature drop of 10 degrees compared to yesterday, it was still quite humid and warm.
Thanks to everyone who attended, and we hope to see you again on August 28 in Nijmegen!
Registration is already open and highly appreciated.
