The countdown for the final stages in 2015 EMMA Asia Final series has started. In its 5th year the biggest international CarMedia Competition in Asia pledges to become even more exciting. Since 2011, the Asia Finals have been established as the platform for car media installers and enthusiasts all over Asia. EMMA as the leading global network for in-car infotainment is again carrying out the finals as a related series of events because the organizational circumstances in Asia are more challenging than in Europe. The fact that many competitors cannot reach every location by land makes it necessary to split the Asia Finals into several stages.
Across all borders, the international judge team flies to the destinations to judge the partaking cars and to guarantee a fair result for each of almost 200 participants in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China. 2015 will be the last series in an annual rhythm as the next Asia Finals are planned to be held in 2017. After being at the Fuji Racetrack/Japan, in Tarlac City/Philippines, Ghuangzhou/China, Jakarta/Indonesia, Bangkok is again the final stage. The reason to choose the Thai capital is the fact that it can be reached conveniently. And, with Somkiat and his team in the back, the organization is supposed to be perfect.
In addition, many of the EMMA partners use the Bangkok stage to come together and so EMMA invites all its affiliates and global partners for a meeting on Monday Nov. 30. However, the most important fact is the get together effect EMMA creates. In a relaxed and complaisant atmosphere, everyone – regardless of nationality – is welcome to share the spirit of this international event. The Final ceremony is the most emotional moment and even if Asians generally keep their emotions by themselves the audience will experience all passionate facettes from laughing faces to tears in the eyes. That is the closing point of an event series that is unique and special. Even more special is the party afterwards when all are together again and share their hobby.
