For Germany the season lifted of with a small but very cozy event at the Klangwerk Dielheim, a car integration specialist close to Heidelberg in the south of the country. It was the first time that the new CD was used in real life and the result was astonishing. Many cars which have been driving the last two years adjusted to the old CD did not have any problem with the brand new sound tracks. Only the adjustment of positioning is a bigger challenge then before. This was the statement of almost all competitors and judges. The kick off was also used to educate new judges in practice so the sound judges went into the cars by teams to share the experience. The most remarkable on the event was the absolute perfect organization by the Klangwerk Team. They were even closing all roads around the shop to have enough space for the around 50 cars showing up. Also everything else was just amazing starting from coffee in the morning and ending with a nice ceremony for the winners of the event. Let’s hope the season will continue as smooth as this first Event.
