The first competition in southern Norway for 2016 took place on May 7. More than 150 cars were present when Porsgrunn Bilfestival had their first meeting. A women called Malene with her blue Mondeo was challenged by some friends who said that girls did not know anything about cars. She took the challenge and started the competiton career at Porsgrunn Bilfestival with a huge success. EMMA were invited and we offered ESPL and SQ. First day this year with temperatures above 20 degrees. For most of the contestants this was their first Sound Off competition and as the liked the judging they stated that they will come again for the next event. As there were so many newcomers an intensive explanation of the rules and procedures of EMMA was done by the Team. Everyone now hopes that this first step will give EMMA a new boost here in the south
